There are 2 services you need for a functioning website - a domain and a website hosting plan for it. Each time you type the domain address in your web browser, you see the content that is uploaded within the website hosting account, but if that Internet domain is not linked to such an account or to an e-mail service, it's parked. Put simply, the domain name is registered and you are its owner, but it doesn't have any content of its own. Rather, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” Internet page from the registrar company, or it can be directed to some other URL of your choice. The main advantage of parking a domain is that you can keep it and ensure that nobody else will take it. At the same time, it won't take a slot for a hosted Internet domain in your account. You could also park domains if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domain names with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to direct them to the main website as a way to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Web Hosting

With each and every web hosting plan that we offer you will be able to park as many domain names as you wish and in contrast to other companies, we don't have any fees for that. However, this can be done just for domain names which are registered through us since parking a domain is possible only with the registrar, and not through the host unless you have the two services with the same company. We've got a feature-rich Domain Manager tool where you can effortlessly park and un-park domain addresses, select one of the templates we provide and add custom text to it, or direct a domain address to a URL of your choice. If you host a parked domain address, our system will change its name servers and set up a folder in the File Manager automatically. You can also set filters to check out only the parked or only the hosted domains, which will allow you to control them easy and fast.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

Our semi-dedicated hosting service don't have a restriction for the number of domain names that you could park. This function is available for domain addresses which are registered with us and not ones that are only hosted, since the service is always provided only by the registrar. Parking any of your domains is really basic and takes a few clicks with the feature-rich Domain Manager software tool, which you are able to access via your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. You are going to have a variety of parking templates to choose from and you can add custom text to any of them - Under Construction, Parked Domain, For Sale, and so on. Un-parking a domain address is just as easy and what is more, our system is going to set up all the needed records and it will set up a folder within the File Manager section automatically, so you'll not need to do a single thing manually.
